Jeff Alt's Mission:To entertain and inspire you to go after your dreams, get outside, and bring your family along for the ride hike.

How would sleeping with a skunk, being chased by a bull, charged by a bear, suffering painful blisters, swarms of insects, and hilarious food cravings convince Jeff Alt that walking the Appalachian Trail was one of the best things he ever did?  Jeff is available for interviews and excerpts to tell you how.

Jeff Alt is the author of A Walk For Sunshine ($15.95; ISBN-13: 978-0-9679482-2-5) 2nd edition, Dreams Shared Publications,  September 2007. This new edition features an epilogue chapter focusing on life lessons he learned from his time on the trail and how he’s applied them to his life.  He shares how walking the Appalachian Trail changed him, in profound, unique, and positive ways and how he has applied these lessons to his career, marriage, and raising his children.  Jeff released his new book in celebration of the 10th annual Walk-With-Sunshine, inspired from his 2,160-mile Appalachian Trail journey, which has raised over $140,000 for the home where Jeff's brother with cerebral palsy lives.
